Description

Product description: Adafruit Neo Trinkey - USB SAMD21 module, 4 RGB NeoPixel LEDs - Adafruit 4870

Adafruit Neo Trinkey module is half USB and Adafruit Trinket. The board is equipped with four RGB NeoPixel LEDs. Adafruit Trinkey was based on the ATSAMD21 chip. Four LEDs are operated by one pin of the microcontroller. Two other pins are used for touch buttons, which were placed on the left and right edge of the board, they are used to adjust the light intensity. The reset button allows the module to enter bootloader mode. An undersized USB connector allows the module to be plugged into a computer port or powerbank, adding the function of a USB flashlight. The module can be programmed in CircuitPython or Arduino with NeoPixel and FreeTouch libraries for the touch button. The USB connector provides a serial, MIDI or HID connection. The module can be used as a simple status notification tool, timer, macro keyboard, random color generator or as an LED flashlight.

Based on the ATMSAMD21 microcontroller, the Adafruit Neo Trinkey module features four RGB LEDs and two capacitive touch buttons.
