An adapter created by Waveshare that allows you to connect high-speed NVMe SSDs using the M.2 bus to the PCIe bus. The module is also compatible with CM4IO expansion board for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 and other boards equipped with PCIe x1 / x4 / x8 / x16 port.
The manufacturer has prepared a user guide for Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4 devices.

NVMe M.2 SSDs
NVMe SSDs feature much faster read and write speeds than traditional HDDs. The adapter supports NVMe drives with an M key (notch on the right side). The maximum NVMe data transfer rate is 32 Gbps. The bus supports drives of different sizes such as: 2230, 2242, 2260 and 2280. The adapter is equipped with an LED that lights up when powered and flashes when transferring data.
