Exclusive tread design Eleven! Better is wider, we can summarize the study presented by Wolf Vormwalde of Specialized and confirmed by the tests carried out in the Specialized workshops of Morgan Hill in California.
Eleven has gone beyond developing his Bibip Raceel cover with a new 30c width and a particular quadruple and double longitudinal central carping on the shoulders to break the water pillow and allow a sufficient contact area between the tread and road surface.
On the wet or on the dry, on the disconnected or on the smooth, uphill or downhill, Eleven Raceel will always take you beyond the possible limit.

Advantages 30C:- The wider rubber is faster because the dispersed energy is less than the rubber deformation and the size of the ground support surface does not increase, but it becomes wider, this means an improvement in the turn.
- The cover undergoes less deformations so it flows more.
In fact, rolling resistance depends on the energies absorbed during the rolling.
- If the rubber flexes too much, the internal friction generates energy dispersion (the rubber warms) and therefore also increases rolling resistance.
- With high profile wheels the rigidity of the circle can be compensated by the greater size of the rubber.
- Decreases the risk of drips due to the crushing of the rubber between circle and the road surface in case of roughness.
